Something about you
that would surprise people?
I love watching “Friends” reruns and I love to cook. I know my way around a kitchen and a BBQ pit.
Why did you become a
coach?
I became a coach to help young men and women reach their full athletic and academic potential but more important to prepare them for life and becoming positive and productive citizens who go out and make the world a better place.
Person who inspires you?
My grandfather Johnny. He was such a great man with a big heart and an infectious smile. There is nothing I loved more than talking to him on the phone on Saturday morning after a Travis victory. It was wonderful to hear the excitement in his voice. I think about him constantly but especially when I take the field before a game. I miss him dearly. I hope I make you proud. I love you grandpa.
What do you love most
about coaching at Travis?
I love the family atmosphere at Travis.
Travis is a wonderful place. We have good teachers, good coaches and amazing
student-athletes.
